once your character's been added to the list, you will move on to claiming your character's celebrity, screennames, and everything inbetween. the most important claim besides your celebrity, is your power if you character has one.

everyone needs to keep track of their relationships. so post your own relationship charts for people to post to so you can keep track of your relationship with other members of the site. if you don't know where to find one or make one, pm an admin for help, that's what we're here for.

everyone needs a special person in their lives. is there a certain character you need to push your own plot around? do you have a plot that needs other participants? start a thread here for other members to see and hopefully it'll get picked up.

thread trackers are very handy for those of us who have a lot of threads at one time. to prevent missing out on things, post one of these here so you can keep track of yourself.

instant messaging is considered the most common way of communicating these days. everyone has one so why not strike up with a conversation with a friend or someone in cambodia, what ever strikes your fancy.

everyone has one, they are a useful piece of technology when you are in a jam or when you are just too lazy and you text someone to get what you need said. either way, cellphones can be useful and fun, so why not give someone a text or call a friend.

blogs are helpful when you feel the need to just express yourself and you need an outlet. here you can spill your guts about your issues either publicly or privately. remember, publicly means that anyone can look at it and comment on it.

the biggest tourist attraction in the world is here! the statue of liberty represents peace, and freedom welcome people from all over the world to the country. it's a nice place to go and see the view, or even just to appreciate your country

time square is where many things take place. violence, love, parties anything that you can imagine takes place there. it is also the place you want to go just to see all the tourist walking around aimless lost in the big city.

lincoln center for the performing arts is the largest cultural complex in the world. it offers many programs, including music, opera, theater, dance, and some more unusual ones such as puppetry and the circus. so if you're interested in any and all things art, this is the place to go to get started.

cbgb (which stands for country, blue grass, and blues) was originally intended to feature namesake music styles, but eventually became a forum for american punk and punk-influenced bands such as the ramones, blondie, and talking heads. the club closed in october 2006, but it was reopened and brought back to life by mickey mack.

looking for a beach? or perhaps you're fond of watching minor league baseball? keyspan park, which is located on this peninsula, is home to the successful brooklyn cyclones. it's also a major resort and a site of amusement parks.

between 1892 and 1924, immigrants used it as a gateway to get into the united states. it has an immigration museum with an interactive learning center for children, so feel free to bring the kids. it also has two theaters, each with 140 seats, and you can rent an audio-tour to help, but chances are you aren't here to learn anything. mayhem, anyone?

named after one of the richest men in the 19th century, andrew carnegie, this glittering white, gold, and crimson concert hall has few rivals for its majesty in the world.

this bridge is the only one that connects manhattan and brooklyn over the east river, which is rather narrow and, not to mention, famous. it has been used in many movies and in various events, but it is known for having much bad luck with its construction, so watch your step.

it isn't just a theatre, it's a national landmark. why, you might ask? well, it started back in 1913. it was a major attraction for its jazz, soul, and rock n' roll music, as well as comedy. many famous musicians played here, including billie holiday and duke ellington, both famous figures in jazz. restored back in 1981, it is once again "the place to be."

madison square gardens is known to host many tours from three days grace to pretty much any band that can book it. most would be lucky to get anywhere near there favorite star.

st. patrick's is the seat of the archdiocese of new york. it is the largest decorated gothic-style catholic cathedral in the united states and also one of the most popular attractions in new york city attracting over three million visitors annually. It is located on the fifth avenue across from rockefeller center and radio city music hall.

fourteen buildings and a half dozen gardens (four of which are roof-top gardens), an underground network of tunnels with shops and restaurants (even a subway station) - an underground city within the city form an oasis which has been a pleasure to millions of people. tours may be arranged, conducted by NBC- trained pages - or you may go to their web site and take a 'virtual tour'. this is such a pleasurable, relaxing place it almost hurts to leave it.

one of the fourteen buildings in new york's rockefeller center was named radio city. This building contained the headquarters and broadcast studios of rca's nbc radio network, a specially designed symphony hall for the nbc symphonic orchestra which broadcast its performances frequently over the nbc radio network and the most grandiose and stunningly beautiful theatre ever built: radio city music hall, the largest indoor theatre in the world.

of course there is a library here. where else would it be possible for young college students to get there studying in away from school. it is know to be one of the biggest in the world, but most of the students don't take time in reading but flirting with each other.

you can't have a city without a museum to shed some light on the past. here at amnh there's a garden with over 500 tropical butterflies, jazz concerts in the rose center, and films about prehistoric creatures constantly shown in the lefrak theatre. just be careful not to break anything with your powers. you break, you buy.

union square was once known as the drug corner, and still sometimes is but after being cleaned up some it's a safer community. you can run, laugh play, do anything you want but watch out for those bad criminals lurking.

a small, yet chic bakery that is one of the many small shops on the same street as small boutiques. run by chuck kellere, she makes some of the best pastries in manhattan, but her specialties happen to be pies.

situated in the central of manhattan, central park is a place to get away from the high stress reality of new york city. here you can just sit in the spacious park and relax, take a jog, or just escape for a while.

everyone needs a place to live. even those who can't afford great houses or a mansion are able to afford an apartment. what you decided to do in your apartment is totally, up to you but make sure to pay up when rent is due!

condominiums are like apartments, only more expensive and slightly more livable. if you'd like to fork out the little extra cash, you could be living rather comfortably in one of these.

penthouses are for those with some money that can afford an upgrade from an apartment. these are commonly located on the top of a one of the better buildings, but not always.

lofts are commonly for those who don't want to be tracked down or detected by the police or others for that matter. many are run down or out of use and have many creatures running around. but others are spotless.

houses are for those who either live with a family or just happen to have enough money to upgrade. many houses are commonly bigger than the average one, but it's still a place to live and rest your head.

have a thread that takes place during the past that you really wanted to play out? well here you can go ahead and do it here, as long as you address the time and setting in your thread.

have a thread that takes place in the future? does your character have the ability to time travel? or do you just want to play a out a plot ahead of time? post the time and setting in the thread.

once a thread is finished or dead, they are moved here so the boards are kept nice and clean. dead or finished threads clogging the boards make it look tacky and we don't want that. any dead threads can be returned if you pm an admin.

going away on vacation? have to take a break from the site? school getting you down? post in here letting us know so we don't delete you during our random activity checks.
